Eight suggestions for construction and maintenance of anticorrosive wood engineering

Recommendation 1: There are three methods for laying anticorrosive wood, and the construction unit can choose according to the actual situation.

1, fixed laying method: use expansion screws to fix the keel to the ground, the expansion reel is made of nylon (anti-aging is better), the iron expansion pipe should be painted with anti-rust paint, and then laid anti-corrosion wood;

2, active laying method: A. Use stainless steel Phillips screws to connect the keel on the front of the anticorrosive wood; B. Fix the keel on the reverse side of the anticorrosive wood with screws. Several pieces make up a whole, which does not damage the ground structure and can be free Disassembly and cleaning;

3. Suspended laying method, the keel can be leveled on the ground and can be connected into a frame / trellis structure, and then anti-corrosive wood is laid.

Recommendation 2: Treatment of the base of the wooden structure: The air circulation between the anticorrosive wood and the ground should be fully maintained during the design and construction, which can effectively extend the life of the base of the wooden structure.

Recommendation 3: When making and installing anti-corrosion wood, a gap of 0.2-1CM should be left between the anti-corrosion wood (decide the size of the gap according to the moisture content of the wood. When the moisture content of the wood exceeds 30%, it should not exceed 0.8CM) to avoid rain accumulation. Swelling of water and antiseptic wood; square pillars with a thickness of more than 50mm or more than 90mm can have a groove on the back to reduce cracking.

Recommendation 4: The hardware should be made of stainless steel, hot-dip galvanized or copper (mainly to avoid rust and corrosion in the future and affect the connection fastness). Please pre-drill the connection to prevent cracking of the anticorrosive wood.

Recommendation 5: Use the existing size and shape as much as possible. Preservatives and outdoor protective coatings should be applied to the damaged parts. Because the anticorrosive wood is a semi-finished product, the rough part can be reduced to less than 20% of the moisture content of the wood after paving. Sanding it again, if you want to have a better effect, you can also apply outdoor protective coating after the surface is cleaned (if there is a color protective coating, it should be thoroughly stirred). If it is rainy or rainy day, it is best to cover it with plastic cloth, and then apply outdoor protective paint when it is sunny (Note: rain should be avoided within 24 hours after brushing).

Suggestion 6: After the surface is painted with external protective paint or oil-based paint (only one time is needed), in order to achieve the best results, avoid people moving or heavy objects moving within 48 hours, so as not to damage the protection of the anticorrosive wood surface membrane. If you want to get more excellent anti-dirty effect, if necessary, make two more special outdoor varnishes on the surface layer. v

Recommendation 7: Due to the particularity of the use in outdoor environments, cracks, slight deformation, and normal phenomena of the anticorrosive wood will not affect its anticorrosive performance and structural strength.

Recommendation 8: Generally, outdoor wood protective coatings are permeable. A protective film is formed on the wood fibers, which can effectively prevent water from eroding the wood. Cleaning can be done with general detergents and tools can be brushes. Do maintenance once every 1 to 1.5 years; just paint with special wood water-based paint or oil-based paint.

Special reminder: workers should wash their hands before eating. Do not wash the work clothes together with other clothes.
